The Human Resource Association of Southeast Michigan invites you to join us for an interactive presentation on gaining effective tools to start your training plan with Carrie A. Van Daele. Carrie is the President/CEO of Van Daele & Associates for 18 years in addition to being a published author and professional speaker. Carrie’s accomplishments include being featured in publications such as Women of Achievement and Business People Magazine. In addition to Carrie’s academic credentials, including BS from Indiana University and MSM from Indiana Wesleyan University, she brings her manufacturing experience and knowledge from the automotive industry. Carrie provides her clients with information to improve team building, continuous process improvement, strategic planning, sales/marketing, and leadership responsibilities to name a few areas of her expertise.

Employee training and development is an important topic in the business world.

Organizations today need to have a plan, a tool kit, and road map of where training and development is going and how to achieve the goal. The expectation of positive change within an organization utilizing "trial and error" or "sink or swim" approaches to training lead to confusion, frustration, and potential failure. This is an opportunity to learn to identify:

Company goals: Competencies available, needed in the future and identifying gaps

Training goals: Types of training needed to bridge gaps

Integrate training into HR strategic plans: How to measure results and identify resources needed to implement training

Evaluate training: Were training goals accomplished and how it supports company goals
