    All facets of the human resource function are represented in the membership of HRASM. Members are employed by many Lenawee County and surrounding area private and public employers, including manufacturing, insurance, banking, healthcare, utilities, education, retail, transportation, government and service. As a member you can gain exposure to a diverse representation of employers.

    Membership is open to individuals who are currently employed in the human resources or a related field, individuals retired from positions in human resources and students majoring in human resources.  We also encourage small business owners and non-profit agencies that do not have a formal HR department to take advantage of membership to enhance management skills and to keep compliant with ever-changing employment laws and regulations.  

    Membership is expected to be professional in nature and not to attract individuals joining for the sole purpose of soliciting business. Membership meetings are designed to provide an atmosphere for casual networking, professional development and learning opportunities.     Our membership runs on a calendar year basis.   HR professionals in transition should contact a board member to discuss free or reduced membership fee for one year. 

    Once the application is completed a receipt will be e-mailed to you.  When your payment is received, your personal or company membership will be activated.  Welcome to HRASM!

    HRASM is a National SHRM Affiliate

    Membership in National SHRM is separate from HRASM. While membership in national SHRM is recommended and encouraged it is not required to join HRASM. For further SHRM membership information, visit the National  SHRM website.

    HRASM No Solicitation Policy

    It is the policy of HRASM to not permit the direct solicitation of our members at meetings, through the directory or newsletter or at any HRASM event or activity except through HRASM Board approved designated sponsorship activities.
